Getting Home...

It's the festive season, and I've been out for a few "Christmas drinkies"...

Image 875Image 875Okay, so I go home, having had a long conversation/argument with Sanj. I get back to find the Kebab Express is shut, so I end up in KFC (boo!!).

Then I walk home, to find the usual barrier to entry (which used to be there for the school, which is now flats, so redundant) and various other things, not least the car, smashed into a wall just a few doors up. Nice. Of course, there was a police man in attendance (who declined to be photographed), but he was overseeing the car being loaded onto the van. You do have to understand, this is a lovely neighbourhood.

But wait, there's more (just as soon as I can make The Gimp do animated gifs ;-)

(also, my CSS is clearly in need of some CPR. Can anyone help me?)

At least we have heating, and our running water doesn't come from a hole in the ceiling ;-)

No server farm rubbing required. I've sorted the CSS thanks to http://www.positioniseverything.net/articles/float-theory.html

Internet Explorer's shameful handling of CSS means that I've ended up opting for some fearsome JavaScript browser detection and different CSSes for IE and everything else. I'll be hacking around with the IE CSS soon, so all the lemmings that use that god-awful browser will have a slightly nicer experience soon.
