European Patents: Update

Having slagged off various London MEPs for being useless, it would be remiss of me not to totally put the boot in about Mary Honeyball...
<--break-->
I received a fax from Mary Honeyball (dated 12th November) which says:

"Thank you for your fax of 24 September 2003 regarding European Software Patents and I apologise for the delay in responding.

I appreciate your concerns and thank you for bringing these to my attention as I continue to be informed on this issue".

Whilst uninformed comment is usually a dangerous thing, I'd hope for a little more than this. Incredibly slow, and absolutely zero use (well, better than zero response, I suppose).

(Sigh) Democracy, not quite what you think it is... ;-)
