It's amazing how many visitors your web site gets from computers (as opposed to people). It's also amazing how many of them are completely stupid. I'm going hunting...

Whilst perusing my server logs (as you do), I found someone seemingly requesting every link on the site. Thankfully, they did seem to be leaving delays between requests. However, they've ignored my robots.txt file (given the number of hits that file gets, most people seem to be getting it right). So, I thought I'd write a flid catcher, which continuously generates links to itself. It's got a little delay built in, and it's very small, so shouldn't flatten my server or bandwidth.
