ITV3

ITV are launching... ITV3 in November (Curiously, searching the ad-ridden ITV website doesn't show anything about it at all). More to the point, they seem to be having trouble filling up ITV2, are they really sure another whole channel is a good idea?

Perhaps we can look forward to even more of The X Factor, X Factor Extra and then The X Factor? Won't that be nice?

ITV3

it's all about the numbers...

when there were four channels (BBC1, BBC2, ITV & C4) each broadcaster had 25% of the market (that's not to say that 25% of people watch each channel of course) then "five" comes along... bosh, all of a sudden each channel now only has 20% of the market, now add ITV2, BBC3, BBC4 you can see where this is going!

it's exactly the same as sweets in the sweet shop, why do they feel the need to make a "white chocolate" whatever when the milk chocolate version is very nice.to maintain their companies percentage of the shelf...

sadly, it's unlikely to change because in order to change it would mean dropping specific channels and therefore giving up market share.

we recently got freeview at home and i have to say that CBeebies is great for the kids; for a while... then you realise that they just repeat the same show, repeat the same show, repeat the same show.there are shed loads of channels but virtually nothing to watch, it's truly incredible.

Yep, but BBC3 on the other hand... Excellent stuff recently. Cheney vs. Edwards, Flash Mob: The Opera and now Grease Monkeys. Love it!

I like to watch "The Practice" on ITV3 every morning, however although the series is supposed to be a proper series, each chapter having to do with the one before, they sometimes skip the chapters, that is, they dont present the ones that should go. It is so annoying!

If anyone knows how to contact the people of ITV3 to make a complaint, that would be great.

thanks
