The hot news at the BBC is that Gordon Brown has axed 100,000 civil servant jobs. That is of course, after employing 500,000 over the last few years. So, he's still up by 400,000. The Unions are still complaining.

Of course the bastard unions are complaining - they only need the slightest excuse to draw attention to themselves in order to justify their existence, while making our lives a misery, the bastards (did I say that already?)
