GCHQ Reads your SMS Text Messages?

This one via robert: Police arrest a bloke for sending a dodgy SMS. I wonder if this is true. Okay everyone, give it a try... ;-) (inciting irresponsible behaviour? Hell, GCHQ can just read this, they don't need any fancy covert technology to do it).
