Coffee

I love coffee. Since I've been at home a bit more, I've been tucking into my Bom Dia coffee from Rio. Last week I made it so strong I was shaking after two cups. I also didn't sleep very well, some 12 hours later. Today, I thought I'd get some instant, just so I could have a quick coffee. What a mistake - I bought some Kenco Purely Costa Rican, which is supposed to be "full-bodied, deep and powerful". I've had plenty, but it's having no effect. Forget instant - using the caffietere is the only way to go.

Coffee

And instant coffee tastes awful anyway! Nothing like good cafetiere coffee made the French way (i.e., where the spoon can stand in the cup unaided).

Coffee

i can't believe a mate of mine would even consider instant ;)

lavazza espresso grade in the espresso machine, the little pot for the coffee filled to the top (well above the 4 cup line ;) then only add enough water for a single refined cup...

three of them and i'm just about ready to tackle my e-mail

Coffee

Yeah yeah, I'm regretting the instant now. Having said that, with at least two decently heaped spoons of the granules give it some taste, although just about any caffietere coffee is way better.
