The All Music Guide is really good. Just a quick check of a few lesser known artists in my music collection shows a wealth of really good information, that seems to be well moderated and arranged. I particularly liked the 'similar artists' thing, which helps you find some new music which you're quite likely to get on with. I'll try a couple of random purchases and see just how good it really is ;-)
