On Friday, they opened Wild West. It's a secret place, not shown on any maps. Special restrictions apply (like Delerium), but it looks way more extreme. Head down Hells Kitchen and stick along the ski boundary - the entrance is somewhere along there. Take a look at it from the gondola - look up the side about a minute or two before getting to Goatseye station. You've got to be crazy to do this one, but it means there's still a run at Sunshine I haven't done.

I have just done the wild west. I would say it is over rated. Delerium is much better especially if you enter down the galaxy shoots or Briax. I'm sure when the wild west gets more snow it will be great if you want to still have skis by the end. Worth trying just to say you have done it. (ps the access point is just off the sunshine coast run.)
