Muppetry

It doesn't do well to talk about one's cow-orkers on one's 'blog, especially if some of those same cow-orkers read one's blog. However, today brought some of the greatest muppetry I could hope to witness. For you, gentle reader who is unaware, I work in high technology, with some very bright people. The degrees/doctorates per head is quite impressive.

Today we had 20 Kensington ComboSaver laptop locks delivered. Despite well distributed instructions, within about 30 minutes, three of them had their codes changed to some unknown combination (one subsequently got rescued). We've still got probably about 4-5 people yet to try and use them.

Statistically, 1 in 10 of my esteemed colleagues are planning a sickie, use PayPal, will have a disabling anxiety disorder and can't use a combination lock.
