The Cat is Dead, Long Live the Cat!

The Cat died during the early hours of Thursday 2nd June, 2005. He had been rushed to servicing early Wednesday morning, and fought for his life galliantly for many hours. Sadly, doctors were unable to save him, and he passed on early Thursday morning. He's in Silicon Heaven now, rest his soul.

In accordance with the prophecies, the Cat's spirit was passed by USB to another. He was reborn, his third re-incarnation, on Friday 3rd June. His purity was verified by elders, and was duely inaugurated in a private ceremony at his home at around 9.30pm.

In his first press conference, the young Cat vowed to honor his predecessors legacy, and to uphold The Old Ways and to bring forth truth and honesty to his flock. Commentators note that the young Cat, whilst mindful of the past, has a background of newer technology, so it remains to be seen exactly what changes he will bring about.
