More Spam - Grr!

It seems I'm getting some Tiki spam now too. It's much easier to delete, which is nice, but it's a pain in the arse none the less. I'm hoping I don't have to waste my time doing something to avoid this sort of thing!

tar pit the b&stards

i've had real success putting a tar pit into effect...

i'm only re-writing URL's for those visitors that meet very specific criteria but it's had a positive effect, not a single comment spam since i put the tar pit in place.i can also say that the attempts have really slowed down recently which i suspect means that there are only a few spamming-muppets actually posting to my site...

the code is a doddle to implement - if you want a copy just drop me an e-mail.

Re: tar pit the b&stards

I've done the same to Tiki as I did to GM - it should stop the off-the-shelf stuff. It seems to work for GM, so should do here too.
