Talk Talk - Door to Door Misrepresentation

I've just had a Talk Talk rep. at my door explaining their service is about to go-live in the area. Obviously, I should sign up because it's going to save me money. I explain I'm not signing up to anything on the doorstep. He tells me it's not a contract, you're not signing your life away. Then, he starts asking for bank details (which he wants to write on a Direct Debit form). WHAT?

I suppose I shouldn't be too suprised. I mean, most new telco companies are a bunch of shiesters, so why should this lot be any different?

I'm just glad the TPS stops these buggers calling me. Now if only I could get one for the doorstep-challenge too...? ;-)

*not* a contract?

that's simply not true and as TalkTalk are part of carphonewarehouse, i'd suggest that you drop someone a line!
