Some friends organised our annual trip to the races. We had lovely hot and sunny weather, and quite a bit of good fortune in our group too. I only bet on three races, and ended up £120 in profit (I know nothing about horses, and it later transpired I'd even been reading the 'away fixtures' pages in the guide too, so don't know much about reading either).
All round though, a really lovely day, sitting in the sunshine, drinking beers, eating food and chatting with some mates. Oh, some horses did some stuff too.
