C4 News is reporting the network of cameras that will soon be over UK roads.
"If a "wanted" vehicle passes the camera it can be tracked and an arrest made."
Of course, if any other vehicle drives by, there's no way your Right to Travel could possibly be infringed. The definition of "wanted" currently only includes "proper" criminals, but how long before it includes parking fine evaders, or people "who don't fit"?
This is all inevitable, I suppose, but it still doesn't make it right.
