Megapixels and Gigahertz

Exactly, megapixels are to digital cameras what gigahertz are to computers: it's important but it's not the only measure to identify how good the kit is. That's why one tip I always give to friends who want to buy a camera is to try it out in the shop, in low light without flash and compare how different models fare.

Wait a minute here...

Are you suggesting that I can continue to print out pr0n the size of a movie theater screen with 6 MP and still maintain a viewable image from 3 feet away?
