The Rasterbator

The Rasterbator is really cool - make giant pictures out of little ones. Especially good when used with the best picture ever.

How Cool is This?

robotI love the idea of this - a robot astronaught that floats around in space fixing up satellites, Hubble and maybe the ISS. Just chuck 'im up there and get him working!

(I want one for my flat)

Microsoft Exchange Costs More

We've recently migrated to Microsoft Exchange. My impressions of it are that there are some good points to it, but the bad ones are a real pain in the neck, and generally translate to higher cost of ownership than other solutions.

British Gas

Brian Johnson responsed to a 'press release' I posted over a year ago. Apparently, EnergyWatch no longer have a remit to monitor British Gas, and so BritishGasWatch has been formed (sorry, an appauling web site). Their phone number is 01709 581397 or email britishgaswatch [at] yahoo.co.uk - so tell 'em what you're concerned about.

Stuff

Chris Pirillo is the top site linked to on BlogRolling. Not sure why. By contrast, Boing Boing is number two, yet far from number two. Bifurcated tells us about Supermodel Personals, which starts out sort of fun, then I just found it wierd. The iTunes software is great. I can't imagine why I didn't use it before (apart from it crawls on my crusty old laptop at home). Paul Oakenfold/Bunkka, Paul Van Dyk/Reflections and The Crystal Method/Legion of Boom are all excellent albums (if you're into electronica).

What They Don't Want Us to See

The Pentagon don't want you to see stuff like this. Take a good look. This is the cost of going to war. Don't try to believe otherwise. More Info.
