We got the Nachi virus at werk. Not seemingly too bad - fortunately, we've missed out on Blaster, Sobig, etc, but got the virus that fixes stuff. It does seem to be generating a humungous amount of pings. Our firewall has been grumbling all day, and occasionally seems to have neglected to pass connections. Besides that, no espeically bad things seem to have happened. Microsloth have fortunately produced the fix, and even a scanner to tell you which machines are vulnerable. That, plus some remote execution onto the clients, and we're about 90% sorted. We'll get the rest tomorrow.

Is it me, or is the traffic in the UK the worst it's ever been? Is it actually now so bad as to be a genuine problem?
